DO YOU KNOW THE BENEFITS? Red dots are becoming more popular than ever and there are good reasons for that. Shooting is obviously very visually-based. The red dot helps shooters not only clarify a sight picture, but it allows them to stay target-focused which is more normal under stress. Additionally, it helps show shooters what the gun is doing throughout the shooting sequence. This was very difficult to teach to students running iron sights in the past because recoil hides info from shooters who don’t know what to look for. When shooters learn more from every round fired, they progress faster. This will be practiced through drills and targeting DELIBERATE components of the individual students' overall shooting.
"Knowing how to train is just as important as knowing what to train"
The course is designed for the shooter who is already proficient with working a handgun from a holster but wants to create a foundation to build additional handgun skills. There is a strong emphasis on how to train for improvement.
Currently Deliberate Concepts Inc does not rent firearms but will generally have many pistols on hand at courses for students to demo.
Students must be at least 18 years old or receive individual approval from Deliberate Concepts with a parent present at the time of training.
